What is Pipe Bursting?

At the access entry point, our pipe bursting equipment will lower in a heavy-duty steel cable affixed with a pipe bursting head into the opening. As it is fed through the old and damaged sewer line, the bursting head, operated with a pneumatic jack system, completely breaks apart the old pipe. As it does this, it creates space for the new HDPE pipe while pulling the new pipe through and into place of the sewer line. 

The existing sewer line is demolished and left in the ground and a new high quality and seamless pipe is inserted into its place.
